The round design of the Clam Tag in connection with its Superlock lock offers a better protection for retail merchandise compared to the standard security hard tags. The size of the tag and the pin makes it harder to open without the required Superlock round Detacher, also makes it harder to be removed without the Detacher because the size of the pin is too big to open a hole on the merchandise.
The ideal application for the Clam Tag is clothing in general, pants, trousers, shirts and even delicate merchandise. Any pin will slightly damage the fabric, for that reason we recommend placing the tag on the seam. In the case of the clam tag, the tag and the pin have the same size and when closed do not offer a separation between them, for that reason they may not damage the fabric as much as other hard tags.
This tag requires a special Superlock Detacher in order to be removed, refrain from ordering if you not have this special Detacher or contact us before placing the order.
